About Our Causes ...

At bamboopink we are committed to giving back to the community that has helped us thrive. Each of the founders has chosen a charity that is near and dear to their heart. Co-Founder Debbie Millar, a survivor of childhood cancer, chose the national Pediatric Cancer Research Foundation as a cause she wanted to even further support.

Co-Founder and Designer Frances Gadbois has been a supporter of the national charity, CASA, Court Appointed Special Advocates, for years. CASA’s mission is to provide quality advocacy for children through a unique, one-on-one relationship between a trained and supervised court-appointed volunteer and an abused, abandoned or neglected child.

Jude Steele chose a local cause, Human Options to support local women in need. Human Options Mission is to help battered women, their families, and our community to break the cycle of domestic violence. For us, bamboopink is more than jewelry, it’s a lifestyle. In the bamboopink lifestyle we are committed to promoting personal growth including giving back to the community and those in need that can benefit from our help.

Oh that's absolutely wonderful! There is a new facebook game that has a wonderful charity aspect that may be good for your blog, my two kids have been playing it the last few days. I believe it's called Karma Kingdom, overall I like seeing a positive impact in our communities.

Hello! I wanted to bring your attention to a recent site my wife and I have launched. Its called CharityGiftMarket.com and we aim to provide a platform for charities to raise revenue and support through the promotion of their merchandise. In addition, we hope to provide a place where shoppers can access these meaningful products and really make a difference with their shopping and gift giving. Anyway, thought you might be interested. Great blog by the way :)
